Our #STORYHIVETurns10 celebrations are a month-long affair of announcements and events that champion our content creator community. Save the date for our 3 days of celebration with these special opportunities to ring in the next decade of B.C. and Alberta storytelling!
Anniversary Documentary Edition Selection Announcement
Thursday, June 22
Earlier this year, we introduced our biggest edition yet: the Anniversary Documentary Edition. On June 22, we will announce the 80 content creators from across B.C. and Alberta selected for this program. Each content creator will receive $20,000 in production funding, training, mentorship in partnership with the National Screen Institute and distribution on TELUS Optik TV.

Content Creator Chat: “The Next 10: Celebrating 10 years of TELUS STORYHIVE” Tuesday, June 27

Join the conversation and hear from STORYHIVE alumni from various programs. We will focus the content creator chat on celebrating 10 Years of STORYHIVE and the important lessons that funded STORYHIVERs have learned on their journeys, plus share any guidance with aspiring content creators. The discussion will be hosted by Prem Gill, CEO of Creative BC and former TELUS team member who helped launch STORYHIVE.
