Coming to Prince George on March 7: “Other Voices” Community Screening
Posted on February 26, 2024Prince George, who’s ready to laugh with us?
On March 7, Indigenous comedian and filmmaker Brian Majore will host a community screening of his TELUS STORYHIVE Indigenous Storyteller Edition project, Other Voices in this not-to-be-missed screening, comedy show and Q&A event!
This evening of entertainment features the short documentary, Other Voices, spotlighting BIPOC comedians in Prince George sharing their stories and experiences from a small Northern B.C. town as they prepare for an all-BIPOC lineup stand up comedy show.
While you’re there, also enjoy a live comedy show featuring the comedians from the documentary and a post-film Q&A.
This event will take place at the Weldwood Theatre at the University of Northern British Columbia—the same theater where Brian got his start in comedy.
The project was funded in the Indigenous Storyteller Edition and will premiere on TELUS Optik TV channel 9 and STORYHIVE’s YouTube channel later in 2024.
