TELUS STORYHIVE Kids TV is officially live! Canadian families now have a brand-new destination for children’s programming created by local storytellers, made right here in our communities.

With several well-known kids’ channels recently going dark, families have been left with fewer options for locally made content, and creators have had fewer opportunities to bring Canadian kids’ stories to life. TELUS STORYHIVE Kids TV is TELUS’ answer to that challenge—and an exciting new chapter for homegrown storytelling.

Now available on TELUS Optik TV Video on Demand channel 611 and on the new STORYHIVE Kids TV YouTube channel, this dedicated kids destination features original programming developed through TELUS STORYHIVE’s funding programs—supporting grassroots creators while strengthening Canada’s children’s content ecosystem.

Share it with your friends, families and kids in your life, and subscribe on YouTube to discover new shows made right here in our communities!

Among the projects:

  • Mr. Field Trip!, from B.C.-based creator Patrick Spencer, takes kids beyond the classroom and into Vancouver communities, meeting the people who make the city special along the way.

  • SmART Kids, created by Alberta-based Renee Manners, is an interactive art series filmed in Fort McMurray that brings together a live studio audience and hands-on creativity to inspire young imaginations.
