Amy Belling
Belling is a multiple Leo Award winning DOP with an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Belling lensed the US romantic comedy YOU CAN’T SAY NO, starring Peter Fonda, Marguerite Moreau and Hamish Linklater, which shot in Sonoma, Northern California. Upcoming documentaries with the NFB include BEAUTY: BEYOND BINARY (Vancouver/Montreal) and HOLY ANGELS (Alberta/BC). SONGS SHE WROTE ABOUT PEOPLE SHE KNOWS, was profiled in American Cinematographer Magazine, premiered at TIFF and was nominated for 3 Canadian Screen Awards 2016. Belling's first short, WHY THE ANDERSON CHILDREN DIDN’T COME TO DINNER by Jamie Travis, premiered at TIFF 2003, SXSW and Slamdance. A DOP/camera op in IATSE 669, Belling has an O-1 work visa for the US and an EU passport.
