Maggie MacPherson

As an alumna of the RTA School of Media at Ryerson University in Toronto, my education is rooted in storytelling and visual media. Since moving to Vancouver in 2013, I have been building a career as a Video Producer for companies such as Dead Famous, SoMedia, Basetwo Media, and Knowledge Network. Last year I received a BC Arts Council Career Development Grant to work with the award-winning Filmmaker John Bolton on a series of musical documentaries for the Canadian Music Centre. This experience inspired me to pursue my interest in the documentary genre. My goal is to push my career to its fullest potential, while collaborating with like-minded creative professionals to produce meaningful and inspiring content.
