Marlon Wilson

I am an aspiring DIY Filmmaker, Actor and Hip-Hop MC who has produced and directed documentaries, music videos, short films and commercials. My film training comes via mentorship of filmmakers from my city. My goals are to grow as a director and producer so that I can create films represent my community in a positive light. I strongly believe we need more people from my community behind the lens so that we can ensure accurate portrayals of us in mainstream media. Much of my accolades to date surround music as I have been actively releasing music since the early 2000s. Some of these accolades include multiple to awards/nominations, critical acclaim for my releases, touring nationally and internationally, charting nationally and internationally.
