Raivo Kruze
Raivo’s first feature length film, RAW*, premiered at the 2016 Whistler Film Festival (nominated for the Borsos Award for Best Canadian Feature and Best Cinematography) and is currently touring the festival circuit. Raivo’s follow up experimental short film, MARE, received the Award of Excellence in the 2016 Canada International Film Festival, and won Best Mini Short at the 2016 California Independent Film Festival. Born in Riga, Latvia, Raivo moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2009 to pursue his passion for cinematography and filmmaking. Since graduating from Vancouver Film School in 2015, Raivo has worked consistently as a Gaffer in Vancouver’s vibrant Film and Television Industry, and has continued to refine his skills and visual style as an independent cinematographer.
