Lisa Ovies

Lisa Ovies is an award winning producer, director, actress and writer residing in Vancouver, Canada. She launched the film company I No.Films in 2011 and has since produced over 15 projects and directed 8 films. The last two years have been ground breaking years for Lisa, She produced an award winning music video, 7 short films, two of which were directed by the award winning Soska twins, and her feature film "Taking My Parents to Burning Man" took home audience choice awards at the Sonoma International Film Festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival and the Maui Film Festival. She had her directorial debut in 2014 on the comedy "I Wanna Date You" &less than 2 years later directed her first feature film, the comedic Horror "Puppet Killer" in Dec '15 which she also produced and co-wrote.
