Chris Beauchamp

I'm a filmmaker & cinematographer based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and a partner in The Distillery Film Company. Since 2013, I've co-produced and acted as director of photography on several short films, music videos, documentaries, and commercials, including the Rosie award-winning 2018 STORYHIVE short, 'Aeternitas,' and the 2019 STORYHIVE documentary 'A Typical Heart.' I was honoured to win a 2019 AMPIA Rosie for 'Best Cinematographer - Drama Under 30 Minutes' (for Aeternitas). I believe in building capacity in my community, and am an active member of the Grande Prairie photography, filmmaking, and media arts communities, serving on the boards of the Peace Region Independent Media Arts Association (PRIMAA) and (formerly) the Reel Shorts Film Festival and AMAAS.
