Katrin Bowen

I am a passionate award winning filmmaker my first feature film Amazon Falls had great critical success with a world premiere at TIFF; and I was honoured to win the vision award for best direction at the 2011 WIFTV Spotlight Awards. My second feature film: "Random Acts of Romance” was nominated for Four Leo Awards: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Screenplay and played at film festivals as diverse as Miami and Cameroon Africa.  My directing career began at UC Berkeley, where I made an award-winning documentary on rap music: Spitting Reality. My 90 second “mindbomb” for Adbusters magazine that went viral with over 800 k views in one week. www.mindbombs.org. I am excited to work with Emily again on this exciting film/VR project.
