Cameron Watts
Cameron Watts (Te isim) is a Nuu chah nulth first nations filmmaker from the Tseshaht tribe, who originate from the Broken Islands on the central west coast of Vancouver Island. Originally Cameron studied acting at Capilano University, but has since made the switch from on camera to behind camera. After Finishing his acting certificate he continued his studies in film through the IIDF Diploma program (Also Capilano University). His directing debut was with a short doc called "A Story of Skin and Ink" and short film "Revolver". His most recent short film "Pookmis" will be screening at the 2018 LA Skins Fest. Storytelling has always been important in the Nuu chah nulth cultures so his passion to create stories through film goes hand in hand with with his connection to his culture.
