Daniel Nguyen

As a production designer I focus on the visual interpretation of a story which requires an indepth study of time and place. I've acquired a unique skill for my craft as I've worked 3+ years as a Literary Analyst of ancient narratives and poetry. This has equipped me as a designer to see beyond the practical needs of a wardrobe or set and into the symbolic representation of a story. I have designed for 11 short films and 2 feature length projects, spanning sci-fi, period, apocalyptic, western, fantasy, and contemporary genres. Although I am a graduate from UoN's film school, my talent has largely developed from ambitious trial-and-error self instruction which has empowered innovation and creativity. My goal is to steward this passion and inspire others with my art.
