As Executive Director for Esquimalt Nation, my portfolio consists of managing the Membership of 322 Nation members, 20 staff, and 6 consulting teams; management of business development and daily operations, as well as enhancing the economic and socio-economic position of the Esquimalt Nation people. I have 15 years’ experience in management and I am a successful graduate from Vancouver Island University’s Master of Business Administration and Masters of International Business degree programs. The role of Executive Director is multifaceted and has enhanced my knowledge in areas that include but are not limited to: funding, budgeting and financial management; policy development and implementation; Government relations; and Canada labour code regulations and Corporate Social Responsibilities
