Cláudio Cruz
Cláudio Cruz holds a degree in Industrial Design for the Mackenzie University and is a self-taught photographer and filmmaker. His documentary "Sertão em Cinzas" was selected for the Doc Montevideo 2014 and the Tribeca Film Institute Filmmaker Workshop 2014. In 2015 he had a solo exhibition with his photography work "Ephemeral Eternal" at the São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound, one of the most prestigious museums in Brazil. He recently directed the short documentary "Edu", about a young man having his life changed after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Ecuador in April 2016. The film was exhibited in festivals in Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, and Australia, where Cláudio was the winner for Best Emerging Director at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival.
