Andrea Velarde

After film school, Andrea started working as an Sound Assistant Editor in Quito, Ecuador where she quickly start having more jobs and perfecting her sound skills. Over the last 7 years she have worked as part of production and post production crew in the sound department. Even though she have done plenty of location sound jobs in mayor Ecuadorian films over the years, in 2018 decided to certificate herself as a ProTools Expert and learn more advance tools of the software. Which came handy in early 2019 when she completed her last work as a Sound Designer for a feature film in Ecuador. Shortly after that she moved to Vancouver, where she hopes to keep working and learning doing what she love! Making sound for films!
