Growing up on the reserve of Fort McKay, storytelling has always been a large part of my Aboriginal heritage. I attended and graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology's Journalism program in 2018. From there I worked as a journalist in Canmore Alberta, having a chance to interview Pulitzer prize winning musicians , famous hockey players such as Sidney Crosby, and work to refine my writing. I left the newspaper industry to pursue a career in film early in 2019, as telling engaging and real narratives has always been a passion of mine.
