Krista Rand
Krista's first producing project was the web series Last Fall of Ashes. It screened internationally & won several awards in LA & was nominated for a Canadian Cinema Editors Award & Leo Award. Krista & Orsy Szabo wrote & produced the STORYHIVE funded short film Lead & Follow starring herself & Ian Tracey. She co-produced the short film Kindergarten, Da Bin Ich Wieder, which won Crazy 8's 2015. That same year Orsy & Krista formed Yellow Heart Pictures & brought to life Alexz Johnson's music video Heart Like That. It can be seen on Air Canada flights EnRoute program as well as Telus Optik Local. The feature film Grand Unified Theory marks Krista's first time as an Associate Producer on a feature film. It has played at 18 film festivals so far and won Most Popular Canadian feature in Whistler.
