Eva Brownstein
With a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a Graduate degree in Communications, Eva's filmmaking practice has evolved through curiosity, determination, and saying yes. Her diverse interests have lead her through a wide range of media landscapes – from shooting and directing narrative documentaries, to working on interactive storytelling projects for education, to creating content for NGO's in India, Rwanda and Haiti. She finds inspiration in giving voice to underrepresented peoples and issues, and communicating stories of resilience. Eva was raised between the mountains of Nelson, BC and Northern India, and recently relocated to Vancouver. The move brings her deeper into the world of documentary and artistic filmmaking as a producer, director, and camera person.
