Gwenna Cochrane Halinda

I am a multidisciplinary artist from Treaty 8 territory, and a second-year university student majoring in English and Sociology. I am a photographer's assistant--helping manage equipment for shoots, communicating with clients, and editing--and am fluent in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Topaz AI, and Final Cut Pro. I've been a production assistant for "Rendering Visions," a documentary by Ashley Laurenson, on which I got trained on videography, sound and lighting tech, and the interviewing process. I also assisted on "Un Homme Libre" by Francois Pelletier, helping direct extras as well as translating French sides for the English crew members. I aim to cultivate a career where I can use my creative talents to drive and support social movements that make the world a kinder place.
