Annthea Whittaker
Annthea Evangeline Whittaker was trained as a video auteur producer at Video Inn Studios. Her literary work is published by Front Magazine, Fireweed quarterly, CBC Commentary, Toronto’s Fuse Art Magazine, Vancouver’s The Loop Magazine, and The Windsor Review. Her article “Set the Truth” is published in Wordworks magazine- FBCW Fall 2024. Her video work has screened at Signal and Noise Festival and Calgary's Herland Festival. She co-wrote and co-produced "The Buddha of Badamtam" in Calcutta and New Delhi, India screened at the India International Centre in 2003. Annthea co-founded University 101, for free access to University of Victoria arts courses. She volunteered as a programmer at the VIFF. Her professional goals include keeping poetry alive in as many forms as possible.
