We’re looking for original three-part documentary series projects that are set in and reflect your local community.
All projects must adhere to a G or PG rating.
The following types of formats are ineligible for the STORYHIVE Three-Part Docuseries Edition:
Fictional projects including mockumentaries
Music videos
Video podcasts
Animation (can include animated elements, but no fully animated projects)
“How-to” docs and docusoaps
Lifestyle or Reality TV
Talk shows
News or reporting (current event style coverage)
User Generated Content (UGC)
Vertical format content
Slow television, or any programming genre without sound, action, or people (bird cams, yule logs, traffic cameras, etc.)
Video games and other applications
Websites
Religious content
Political content
Projects outside of British Columbia or Alberta
Audio-only content
Promotional and advertorial content
