We’re looking for original three-part documentary series projects that are set in and reflect your local community.

All projects must adhere to a G or PG rating.

The following types of formats are ineligible for the STORYHIVE Three-Part Docuseries Edition:

  • Fictional projects including mockumentaries

  • Music videos

  • Video podcasts

  • Animation (can include animated elements, but no fully animated projects)

  • “How-to” docs and docusoaps

  • Lifestyle or Reality TV

  • Talk shows

  • News or reporting (current event style coverage)

  • User Generated Content (UGC)

  • Vertical format content

  • Slow television, or any programming genre without sound, action, or people (bird cams, yule logs, traffic cameras, etc.)

  • Video games and other applications

  • Websites

  • Religious content

  • Political content

  • Projects outside of British Columbia or Alberta

  • Audio-only content

  • Promotional and advertorial content
