Jennifer MacLean

I earned a BFA in Theatre from the UofC in 2003 which included classes in Film, Script Theory, Directing and Stage Production. I won a "Guilty Pleasure" award at the 2016 New York City Film Festival Fright Fest for the short "Sundowners" by Egomaniacal Productions and won a Best Supporting Actor Award from Workshop Theatre in 2016. I've been nominated for various acting awards over the last few years from Calgary ACTS and The Calgary One Act Play Festival. These specially recognised roles included a combatant vampire, a grieving mother, a conflicted Lesbian and a crazed Elvis fan. *2017 Grant winner: Music Video Edition w/Dropbear & Panda and the High Strung Downers' single "Lonely Mind" *Recent: Actor: Cast as Margaret: "Much Ado About Nothing" w/DIY Theatre November 2019
