Steve Schwartz

Steve Schwartz is a filmmaker from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Steve has had a passion for film from a young age, where he could often be found behind the lens of a camera. Steve began as a photographer, working on weddings and commercial shoots. He soon transitioned to filmmaking, with his first film work including traveling to Swaziland, Africa on a 14-day shoot. His work has since been featured on sites such as the CBC, The Daily What, and the blog of Ryan Seacrest. In 2013, Steve was one of 13 students to win VFS's "This is My Year" scholarship competition. Graduating in 2015, Steven currently works in Vancouver as a freelance film-maker/photographer, always looking for the next story to tell.
