Alex Duncan

I'm a writer, director and actor with an honours degree in Fine Arts and Theatre from Bishop's University. At the tender age of 19, I spent a summer studying acting at Circle in the Square in New York City, which was life changing. In 2019, I graduated from The Writer's Studio at Simon Fraser University, where I studied poetry. Over the past decade, my career has allowed me to thoroughly explore the realm of film-making from the perspective of an actor, which ignited my interest in writing and directing. I have also had the exhilarating (and sometimes hectic) experience of writing and publishing a children's book, An Army of Hearts, which evolved into my first film that I wrote and co-directed the following year. I hope to continue to learn and grow as a storyteller.
