Carter Selinger

I've graduated with a B.A in English from the University of Regina and am currently working on my M.F.A in creative writing at UBC. Growing up, I made little films with my friends as a hobby. As I got older, I focussed on writing and literature. Studying literature improved my writing, critical thinking, and understanding of art. I've taken classes and written spec scripts for film and television. I know how to build stories behind the scenes, but now I'm hoping to transform my childhood hobby into a career where I can watch my scripts come to life on screen. Ideally, I'd like to work in a writer's room someday, and then work towards creating, showrunning, and directing my own series.
