Synopsis

When a strange visitor returns a nearly identical cat to the one Rowan and Hannah lost a few days prior, the couple disagree on whether it is their beloved pet, Tubby. Rowan, unemployed and directionless, becomes obsessed with proving this new cat isn't Tubby, but a doppelganger. While Rowan's obsession begins to alienate Hannah, he seeks a sympathetic ear in his odd new friend, Michael, while Hannah finds the same in her work mate, Lee. As Rowan's need to prove the real Tubby is still missing increases, the stability of his and Hannah's life gradually crumbles. This obsession brings his sanity into question and jeopardizes the safety and future of the couple.
