Michelle Boyd
Michelle is a fibre artist and writer who lives in Olds, Alberta. After studying both design and cultural anthropology, Michelle stumbled into spinning and weaving, achieving her Master Spinner certification from Olds College. She now offers worshops in fibre arts across North America and is a regular contributing writer for several fibre arts publications. Michelle's avocation is theatre, which has led her to collaborate with a variety of artists, weaving together her passions for textiles, education, and the performing arts. When her son founded the Odd-Lot Puppetry Co, Michelle became a playwright, scripting both educational and entertainment projects for the group. She is currently an instructor for the Master Spinner Program and continues to write for small theatre and film projects.
