Your votes helped crown the Top 2 Animated Edition winners. Each winner receives customized career training and attendance to the 2017 Ottawa Animation Festival.  

How it works

  1. Pitch + Plan

    Apr 9, 2019 - May 7, 2019

    Plan for your production and wow us with your application and pitch video.

  2. Vote + Award

    May 28, 2019 - Jul 25, 2019

    A team of industry experts and TELUS team members selected 30 projects to receive production funding, training and mentorship, and distribution support. Each awarded project will receive $50,000 production grant to make a documentary. BC projects will receive additional top-up funding from Creative BC.

  3. Learn + Create

    Jul 26, 2019 - Jun 1, 2020

    Each successful team will work with mentors to produce a project 20 - 60 minutes in duration. Projects will be featured on select TELUS platforms in 2020.
